Description

This reptile/amphibian themed PowerPoint game reviews the concept adding/subtracting tens up to 99. The game includes the following components:

**Introduction of Tens.

**Finding ten more/less of a number. This round has ten questions that are not multiple choice.

**Tens Number Patterns. The students will be provided with three numbers and asked to list the next three in the pattern. This round has ten questions that are not multiple choice.

**Adding/Subtracting Multiple Tens. The students will be asked to mentally add additional tens (20, 30, 40, etc) to two digit numbers. This round has ten questions that are not multiple choice.

**Final Round - The students will practice counting by tens to 100.

This activity can be used as an independent center, team game, or whole group with the students solving the problems on their own and then checking them together as a class. Students can answer the questions on dry erase boards, paper, math journals, etc. The answers follow all of the questions so the students get instant feedback.
