Description

Testing season coming up? Use this Test Taking Tips and Strategies resource to help prepare your students!

This Google Slides presentation provides valuable tips and strategies to help students succeed on standardized tests. Because this Slides presentation is text-heavy, I have my students take notes, either digitally or on paper. Now included is a paperless notetaker that students can type directly into Google Slides. The note-taker can also be printed for students to hand-write their notes.

Students take notes on the strategies, and then we practice applying the strategies using sample multiple-choice tests (easily found online or in your filing cabinet).

We also use the companion jeopardy game, in which I allow students to use their notes to answer the questions.

Great value
This Google Slides presentation on test-taking tips and strategies was exactly what I needed to help prepare my students for standardized tests. The slides were well-crafted, easy to follow, and provided valuable strategies that students could immediately apply. I loved that students could take notes during the presentation and then practice the strategies with sample multiple-choice questions. A clear, practical, and effective resource!
