Description

Teaching the scientific method is tough for students. This particular practice sheet focuses on the beginning of the scientific method where students create testable questions from general observations. At the beginning of the practice sheet is a refresher of what is a testable question and then there are two parts for students to practice this skill. Part one gives students questions to identify as testable or not and then part two has students creating a testable question.

This would make a great in class practice, homework assignment, or assessment. An answer key is included.

This practice directly supports Virginia Science SOL 4.1.
