Description
I created this product to use in my own classroom after administration required that we reflect on our scores after taking the STAR test. I didn't love the testing reflection sheets that were given to me to use with my class as they were very negatively focused.
This product allows students to create their own personal goals, steps of action to take to meet goals, a space to track their scores, and a space to reflect on how students feel about their scores / what steps helped them to achieve.
The way I introduce this to my class is by brainstorming ways to do well on their test. My third graders often offer solutions like getting good rest the night before the test, focusing well on the test while taking it, reading carefully, showing their work on scratch paper, etc.
You can use these on big state-specific practice tests for state testing (STAR, MAP, STAAR, etc.) or even on classroom assessments. This can be used whole group, with an individual student who may need to work on test taking strategies and may benefit from goal-setting, or even with a small group.
Using this product, you provide the space for students to set their own personal goals, track their own scores, and reflect on how they can continue to grow!
