In this product, you will find:
Four sources for students to analyze:
- (2)Two non-fiction articles about space and ocean exploration - includes vocabulary, multiple choice questions, and written response questions - (answer key for multiple choice questions included).
- (2) Two (optional use) infographics
- Argumentative Writing Prompt
- Pre-write template
This product was created to prepare students for the new, rigorous state standardized test – specifically in Indiana (ILEARN). I created this product to challenge students to analyze multiple sources as they are asked to complete a writing performance task. The performance task will require students to write an argumentative essay and their stance of the prompt- Should the United States continue space exploration, or should we find a different use of the billions of dollars the government is giving NASA?
