Text Feature Bingo is laid out like any other bingo card, except that it has a square for each of the text features that we have already been studying. Students will look in the nonfiction section for books containing those text features and will bring them to me to mark their card when they find one.

My library students loved this activity paired with some intriguing nonfiction books in our collection. They had to write the page numbers down for each text feature to show that they had "really" found it in the book. Many of them checked the books out after this game. Thank you.
