Description

This lesson provides engaging interaction among students. It can be used as a teaching tool to introduce/reteach what text features are and why they are used, or this product can be a review game for the students to show what they know.

Common core-aligned, this product reviews 12 typical text features that authors use. Students demonstrate their knowledge by placing task cards correctly into a large classroom chart. It can be used whole group, independently, in small groups, reading centers or with partners.

Great for ESE, SLD, ESL, ELL, ESOL, remedial students….

Plus, since games and challenges add to the excitement of any lesson, there’s an optional Baseball Game that's included.

With so much emphasis on nonfiction text analysis, it is the perfect test prep activity!
