This activity blends station rotation, Interactive Notebooks, and technology using QR codes to teach/reinforce learning of expository text structures. Included in this packet: Station posters for seven common text organizational patterns, Interactive Notebook activity sheets, and a graphic illustrating the relationship between author's purpose, text structure, and main idea. QR codes on the station posters link to text samples for each organizational pattern. Also included is a set of station posters without QR codes (for teachers who are tired of those).
