Description

Review text structure (and get advice from a wombat ) with this fun resource. -Leveled ~ Digital and Printable Options Too- These 40 text structure task cards are differentiated to make teaching text structure easy and convenient. The first 20 task cards are for students that read at the 5th to 8th grade range. The second 20 task cards, Level B, contain the same texts, but the passages are written for students that read at the late 2nd grade to late 4th range range. It contains nonfiction (informational text) passages. Many content area vocabulary words repeat across the passages to help students build vocabulary skills too!

This document comes with two printable, easy fold boxes to make storage convenient. The task cards review text structure at the sentence and paragraph levels. This helps students understand text structure in a deeper way. Students can learn how authors organize text and how details work together to convey ideas. This document is great for test prep. It aligns with Common Core Standards RI.5 Text Structure and RI.4 Vocabulary.
