This resource was used almost daily in my classroom! The anchor charts and interactive notebook pieces became go-to references that my students relied on throughout the year when analyzing informational texts. I loved how clearly each text structure was explained and organized. My students frequently referred back to their notebooks and the classroom posters when identifying text structures, signal words, and author's purpose. It helped build their independence and confidence when tackling complex passages. Any resource that students use on their own without being prompted is worth its weight in gold, and this was definitely one of those resources. It became an essential part of our instruction and helped reinforce a skill that appears over and over again in upper elementary reading. Highly recommend!
