Description

Your Middle School students will easily learn how to analyze the structure of texts and how specific parts relate to each other and the whole using my 3-step process within the interactive guided notes that I call Pixanotes® and a PowerPoint.

A perfect way to help teach R.CCR.5!

See the DIGITAL version of these notes (with embedded video) by clicking here!

Pixanotes® are a blend of the structure of traditional two-column notes and visual/interactive notes. There are 4 versions all with the same content so that every student can get what they need.

In this resource you'll receive:

✅ Four versions of Pixanotes® with different levels of scaffolding

Level 1: Fully printed content and pre-printed pictures

Level 2: Fully printed picture flaps and fill in the blanks for students

Level 3: Pre-printed content and picture flaps that need to be positioned by the

student.

Level 4: Fill-in-the-blanks for content and picture flaps that need to be positioned

by the student.

(see a free video about Pixanotes by clicking here.)

✅ Word bank (for more advanced students to use instead of the PowerPoint)

✅ Picture flaps

✅ PowerPoint that matches the notes.

Your students will love having a plan for how to analyze the structure of texts and you will love that these notes are already differentiated!
