This 18 page powerpoint introduces the R.A.C.E. strategy (Restate the question, Answer the question, Cite Evidence and Expand). This lesson walks students through the steps in RACE using guided practice. At the end of the lesson, a question and text is provided to allow students to practice using R.A.C.E. on their own.
