Description
Thanksgiving themed 1 step and 2 step problem solving practice activities - both print and digital versions are included for distance or blended learning. These 2 sets of write the room Thanksgiving task cards allow you to easily scaffold 2 step problem solving. The first set of 24 Thanksgiving task cards have word problems with 1 step problem solving (multiplication or division), while the second set of task cards has 2 step word problems based on the 1 step problems in the first set of cards.
On these task cards/Google Forms quizzes, answers are kept within 50. I have deliberately kept the numbers involved small, so that children can focus more easily on developing their problem solving skills.
In this resource, you will receive:
- Task Cards Set 1: 24 write the room task cards with 1 step Thanksgiving-themed word problems (multiplication or division)
- Task Cards Set 2: 24 write the room task cards with 2 step Thanksgiving-themed word problems (all 4 operations).
- In this second set of task cards, each word problem starts with the same problem as the cards in the first set (so children have already solved that problem) - then it adds an additional problem. This allows you to scaffold the tricky task of learning to solve 2 step problems.
- Digital version of Task Cards Set 1: Google Forms quiz (self grading)
- Digital version of Task Cards Set 2: Google Forms quiz (self grading)
TPT will make a copy of the Google Forms quizzes for you and put it into your Google Drive. Once you have your own copy, you can assign the quizzes to your pupils. The Printable PDF is also in the Google Drive folder, and you can download it to your computer (or print from Google Drive).
