Description

These Color By Code Thanksgiving Addition and Subtraction pages are a great addition to your classroom in November. Students will solve the addition and subtraction problems, and then color their pages according to the color code on the sheets. This packet includes the addition color by code packet and the subtraction color by code packet. Each packet includes 6 Thanksgiving scenes. (The addition and subtraction packets include the same 6 pictures.)

This is great for reinforcing math facts in a fun, engaging way. The pages are cute, easy to use, and perfect for independent practice or a seasonal math center. My students enjoyed the activities, and they provided great extra practice without any prep. A great seasonal resource!

I loved this resource. I used it during Thanksgiving time with my first graders to reinforce their addition and subtraction! Some of the problems were a bit difficult like '16-8' because they did not know how to subtract big numbers yet but it was a great for my high achieving students that like a challenge. Students were engaged and motivated to finish this activity to see the final drawing! I loved it and will use it again!
