Description
There are 4 different Thanksgiving/fall visuals which the children will examine and apply clues to in order to arrive at a conclusion. Children are given a purpose to find a specific turkey, squirrel’s tree, house, and teepee in an opening statement. For example, children may have to find which turkey has been “invited” to Thanksgiving dinner, or which tree squirrel’s acorns are hidden in. The students will have to write one or two simple complete sentences to finish the task.
You will get 4 colorful picture cards (task cards), 18 task cards with clues, and 5 different answer sheets. Also, there are 5 vocabulary pages of pictures with words to help students with reading the clues and writing short sentences.
Descriptive sentences include math vocabulary (ordinal numbers) adjectives (position words, colors, design) and nouns. Students will be asked to write a sentence or two per task card.
I don’t want to tell too much more because I might give away the surprises!
I can assure you that your students will have fun with these.
