This is a seasonal math addition and subtraction activity for Thanksgiving. This file contains 4 separate math activities. Also included are links to related materials on YouTube.

The first activity is an addition activity. In this activity students will count manipulatives, write the numbers and do the addition. This is a self-checking activity where the students can count the total manipulatives to find the correct answer.

In the second activity students will add together numbers and select the correct answer . If the students choose the correct answer they will receive a turkey gobble.

In the third activity the students will count the first set manipulatives subtracting the number of manipulatives from the second set and choose the correct answer. If the students choose the correct answer they will receive a turkey gobble.

The fourth activity is subtraction with numbers. The students will do the subtraction and choose the correct answer. If the students choose the correct answer they will receive a turkey gobble.

Also included in the Attachments Tab of Notebook is a PDF copy that can be printed out and used as a reinforcement activity.

These activities were created using SMART Notebook. SMART Notebook files may not work with all interactive boards. Check to see if your interactive board software has a file import feature and accepts SMART Notebook files. ActivInspire software when importing SMART Notebook files will lose some animations or special SBN animations.
