Looking for a fun, engaging Thanksgiving resource to practice 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication and multi-digit multiplication? This double digit multiplication craft also includes 3 and 4 digit numbers to allow for differentiation. With this low-prep math craft, all you need to do is print a copy for each student, hand them some coloring pencils, glue, and scissors, and be ready for a fun math class. The end result will produce a beautiful seasonal display for your bulletin board or classroom walls! Don't like the numbers I provide? No worries, you can add your own with a blank copy!
Here is what's included:
- 65 different turkeys ( 2 digit, 3 digit, and 4 digits)
- 20 DIGITAL TURKEYS ON GOOGLE SLIDES
- 5 feathers for each turkey.
- blank turkey and feathers to add your own numbers.
The purpose of the activity is to multiply the number on the turkey by each of the numbers on the feathers.
Do your students multiply using the area model or box method? No worries, the provided turkey feathers are big enough to allow students to show all their work, wether it is the traditional multiplication algorithm or the area model method!
Completed turkeys measures approximately 8 inches wide by 12 inches tall. Looks great hanging on a clothesline in your classroom or on a bulletin board.
