Use this Thanksgiving turkey math craftivity to reinforce counting, addition, subtraction, number bonds, and color words! I’ve included five different versions of this math craft so you can use the option that fits your classroom’s needs best or you can differentiate. What's included with this fall math craftivity?

  • Picture examples
  • Three different turkeys with headings and one without a heading
  • Feathers-copy these on colored paper or students can color them
  • Tips on how to add the feathers
  • Explanation of the recording sheets.
  • Recording sheets for counting, two addends, three addends, number bonds, and two options for subtraction)

To use this turkey math craftivity...

  • Print out the turkey page or pages. You can print them on colored paper or let students color them.
  • Print and feathers on different colors of paper.
  • Choose which version you would like to use. Print and copy the recording sheet.
  • Students will add feathers to their turkey according to the directions on the version chosen.
  • Students will fill out the recording sheet.
  • Glue everything on a large piece of paper to make the display.
