The Box Method, or Area Model, is a great tool that utilizes students' understanding of place value to help them become successful with multiplying larger numbers. It provides a way to organize the numbers in the problem that allows students to see the steps they need to take. Kind of like starting with the training wheels!!

✅ Starts with two student review resource cards.
✅ Cards 1 – 20: mix of 2-digit by 2-digit and 2-digit by 3-digit problems
✅ Cards 21 – 30: a mix of 2- digit by 3-digit and 2-digit by 4-digit. problems.
There are different types of questions: drag and drop; typing; multiple-choice and clicking on the correct answer. Note: Some cards might have more than one question for students to answer. Students are asked to analyze, supply missing information, and solve these multi-digit multiplication problems.
