Need work for Thanksgiving week but don't want to teach anything new? 40 total slides!!! Here's some 4th grade Math that students should be able to do by November.
Slide 1 - True or False on multiples. Ex. "12 is a multiple of 5"
Slide 2 - Place Value - Students drag "1,000" for the number 631,485
Slides 3 to 6 - Rounding, 3 problems per slide. Students use moveable number tiles to answer.
Slide 7 to 16 - Students divide two digits by one, with a remainder. Again, students drag moveable tiles that are stacked.
Slide 17 - Place Value - It is in expanded form and students solve. Ex: 100,000 + 5,000 + 70 + 9 = and students type the answer.
Slides 18 to 20 - Multiplication. Students multiply two digits by two digits and use number tiles to answer.
Slides 21 to 26 - Multiplication. Students multiply two digits by two digits and type everything, including the partial products.
Slides 17 - 29: Error analysis. All three slides contain mistakes and students need to type the error and type the correct answer.
Slide 30: Comparing numbers. Students use >,< or = to solve. Inequality signs
Slides 31 - 38: Students drag numbers to create the smallest 4 digit or 6 digit number. They also will try to solve the largest with the numbers provided.
Slides 39 - 40: Thanksgiving clipart with prime numbers on them and composite numbers on them. Students drag the circle over the prime on one slide, and over the composite on the other slide.
Excellent review or busy work during Thanksgiving week!
