Make math FUN with these Thanksgiving-themed riddles and jokes!! This packet was designed for 4th and 5th grade but can also be used as remediation or review for 6th grade classrooms. These math riddles will fit perfectly with your COMMON CORE standards! There are a total of 10 riddles in this pack. An answer key is also included!!
Students are presented with a joke/riddle and must solve the arithmetic problems in order to find the answers to the riddles. For example:
Q: What do you wear to Thanksgiving dinner?
A: A harvest
The following skills are covered in this packet:
- decimal addition
- 2 by 2 and 3 by 2 decimal multiplication
- reducing fractions
- fraction addition
- fraction to decimal conversions
- mixed number to decimal conversions
- percentage to fraction conversions
- percentage to decimal conversions
- mixed numbers to percentages conversions
- turn pie diagrams into decimals
These sheets are great for practicing math skills and demonstrating mastery. Your students are sure to love them!!
