Thirteen sentence model cards give suggestions for sentences that students can make and check themselves. They can then use the included easy-to-make pointers to "point and read", strengthening early reading strategies of one-to-one matching, directionality, fluency and self-monitoring with known words.
The color coded cards in this resource will help your students develop good habits in sentence writing. First words in each sentence are green and ending punctuation cards are red.
A student response sheet is also included.
