THANKSGIVING - PROBLEM SOLVING / WORD PROBLEMS
Do you need multi-step word problems for the Thanksgiving holiday? We have created a worksheet of ten multi-step problems in a standardized test form. They include fractions, decimals, percents, distance, time, speed, proportions, volume, age, a circle graph, and integers.
They are aligned to the Common Core Standards (Ratios and Proportional Relationships) and the NCTM Standards as well. They are for a PreAlgebra class but can be used with anyone who is on that grade level (gifted, adults and high school).
These problems are created in two forms. The first one is the ten problems listed on two pages which can be double-sided. The other one is on three pages but space is provided to solve the problems. An answer key is included with sample solutions as there are other ways to solve these problems.
