Thanksgiving Checkered Turkey Craft is a unique project for students to create during the month of November with the Thanksgiving Holiday approaching. The feather shape is one large rectangle with many squares that students color, in with a unique pattern with crayons. They also color the triangles and proceed to cut them out and glue them in a specifec pattern as well. When finished with this first step, students cut out the construction paper turkey patterns and put turkey togethter with some glue. Last students glue the checkered board feather design to the back of the turkey's body as his unique feathers. This is a fun project for your students. They will certainly enjoy it.
