Description

These task cards are just about the Cell Theory and nothing else! There are 20 question cards and 20 answer cards. Task cards are fun, easy, for students to complete, and really useful for assessment for the teacher to assess.

Here's some ways to use them in your classroom:
-Stations: This could be one station in your classroom while students work on the cell theory.
-Move Your Feet Silent Quiz: You have taped one question to each desk and let students move while answering the questions. I recommend setting a timer and only allowing students to move after time goes off.
-Homework: Print out the question cards for the students, send the students home with the print outs to cut out and answer on a separate sheet. Students should keep cards in binder to study for the test.
-Quiz-Quiz-Trade: Students go around the classroom testing each other with their card.
-Whole Class Assessment with White Boards: Show students questions, give them time to choose an answer, have them hold up their white boards, and then go over the correct answer.
-Whole Class Assessment with Plickers/Clickers: Same as white board assessment, but a little more technology involved. You must create the plickers/clickers question and answer bank by copying and pasting each question and answer you find here.
