This teacher-friendly product takes an innovative look at the word 'entitlement'. Intended for students grades 6 through 8, The Entitlement project is hands-on. The objective is for students to understand entitlement by walking in someone else's shoes. The project can be completed over several weeks, or a full term and involves stories, small and large group activities, writing, studying the world and its environment, and an art component. This thoughtful project has been enjoyed by grade 6 and 7 students in an advantaged learning class but can also be used in the regular classroom.
