Use this spring estimation activity for your math lessons and either send home a booklet that comes back and forth to school or just a handout for each student on their sharing, happy helper, or show and tell day. The student choose 1-30 of an item and places it in a plastic egg and they fill out the log book by drawing and printing. When they bring the book, egg, and items to school, the educator can use it as an estimation and counting activity with the class. The student can share what they recorded in the book afterward.
