After reading the novel, The Giver, by Lois Lowry, you will have your students complete a project based on the book. You will have the students choose one of the following project ideas to complete independently. The project can be worth one TEST GRADE. This is a great follow-up to the novel and unit. You may choose to have your students complete it independently or with a partner/group of students. Each project choice come with a list of directions, examples, and some even have reproducible materials for the students to cut out and directly use.
