Introduction
The Identity Project is a Google Slide template that students complete individually. Students can self-differentiate by completing the first 12 slides for up to a 92%, or all 14 slides for up to 100%. A grading rubric is included.
Students will be asked to consider their values, career goals, life goals, and to identify the resources available to them to help them pursue these goals. Students explore their own potential as citizens by developing their self-awareness from a broad, lifelong perspective. Completing the Identity Project will aid students in understanding their role as a citizen and will help them to become contributing members of society.
The Identity Project will allow teachers to know their students in a meaningful way. Students will experience a deep self-discovery process, and they will inevitably be inspired by their classmates’ projects as well.
Review slides and customize the project to fit your needs and teaching style. Slide #2 gives you a place to insert your own instructions to direct students on how to turn in their assignment.
