This is a phenomenal resource that allows students to build empathy and compassion for others, review the flaws of the criminal justice system, and organize their findings into a cohesive presentation. The links for the evidence are broken, but I was able to find them just fine on the website. I will recommend this project to others and will do this project with my students for years to come.

Students in my government class got a real kick out of this activity and it spurred a lot of classroom discussion. Will be using this again in the future!

I was very disappointed with this resource. I was hoping to use it with my Grade 11 Academic Law class as we were starting a new unit on the wrongly convicted. The powerpoint lacks substance. It takes you directly to the Innocence website which is free. The assignment is ok but lacks clarity and could be presented better. There is also a typo. With some revisions and a rubric added it could be a good project or activity for a law class.
