In this lesson, Math Marvels will explore The Locker Problem. In this rich problem, Math Marvels will use what they have learned thus far about place value, factors and multiples to solve the Locker Problem. This is a "low floor, high ceiling" problem in that students in grades 4-6 can explore this problem as there are many ways to understand and attempt this problem. This lesson includes a complete video lesson with hook, mini-lesson, and common misconception. Also included in this lesson is a pdf with guided notes and independent practice problems that align to the lesson.
