Wow! Reading fiction is fun! It is great to reflect on it! When students finish reading a book, have them work on the Main Character Project. It helps them focus on the character's traits, compare and contrast, work on the main character interview, make a web, write what lessons they have learned, and make up a paragraph about the main character. It will be good to use in the ELL and in the basic English classes.
