Description
This fox themed PowerPoint game helps the students practice solving word problems with multiplication and division facts to 12. It contains the following components:
Round 1: Introduction. It will explain the meaning of multiplication and division and some "signals" of when to use both operations.
Round 2: The students will answer 24 multiplication/division word problems. These problems are not multiple choice. However, the correct equation will be given in the following slide for instant feedback.
**The Lightning Round! Multiplication and division equations will appear on the screen. The students will decide if they're true or false. There are 16 questions in this round.
These activities can be used as an independent center, team game, or the whole group with the students answering the questions on their own and then checking them together as a class. Students can answer the questions on dry erase boards, paper, journals, etc. The answers follow all of the questions, so the students get instant feedback.
