"The graphics on the slides were amazing and the information was great. I combined a couple resources to make a really good unit on the Planets and integrated some science information on the solor system and the different planets. "

Description

Whether you are in a school that limits the amount of paper you use or if you want to add a technology component to your music class, these Digital Version Staggered Booklets (Flip Books) for Gustav Holst's, The Planets are colorful and great to use with your students via Google, Google Classroom or Microsoft OneDrive!! You get the same great look (actually it's even better!) as the paper version with this resource as it looks similar - just paperless! It saves time since students don't have to cut, color or glue! They can use these on Chromebooks, Androids and other devices therefore it allows your students to work from anywhere (including school and/or home) to edit (add their answers), print (if desired) and share their file and answers with you to grade (go paperless!).

Your students can track the mood, tempo, dynamics, instruments used, composer facts (name, birth/death dates, country, time period) and and rate each planet in Holst's music with this fun interactive digital resource. Students edit their answers in text boxes and slide/drag ovals, X's and gold stars (for the rating part). You can have your students keep track of each planet in the suite, choose which of the planets to use for each class or grade level, or assign a different planet to your students. This set will work best for students in grades 5-12. If you wish to purchase just one or two planets digital booklets send me a note via the Q&A section and I'll be happy to accommodate you.

This is a great way to introduce music listening skills as well as introducing music from the Planet Suite. Great way to teach students what to listen for, as well as integrating musical terms. It fit nicely on my unit The Planets.
