Description

Within this bundle students will develop the idea of a sampling distribution for sample means and sample proportions.

1. Students will start by identifying parameters and statistics in context and being able to write the correct notation. - Identifying Parameters and Statistics

2. Students then will develop the idea of a sampling distribution my taking many random samples and plotting the sample mean. - Exploring the Sampling Distribution

3. Once the students understand what a sampling distribution represents and know the equations for the mean and standard deviation of a sampling distribution, they can practice pulling out numbers from context and using the number to create the sampling distribution. - Sampling Distribution Task Cards

4. Students will then be able to apply the sampling distribution to solve problems involving the normal distribution, and practice verifying conditions. - Sampling Distribution Around the Room Activity
