Description

This new math activity: The Unit Circle, was designed for regular and Honors high school students in trigonometry, precalculus, geometry, and algebra 2. This activity teaches students everything about the unit circle. The use of trigonometric functions is of vital importance not only in mathematics, but also in science and other fields. This activity works like magic and will teach students how to calculate all six trig functions graphically and mathematically for any angle between 0 and 360 degrees. After working in this activity, the students will realize that working with trig functions is not difficult and that it is a lot of fun.

The students also will learn to create several trig identities, how to figure out the sign the functions have, and more. There are two excellent templates with rulers to cut for the teacher to photocopy, which will allow the students to do their graphical work. In addition, there are two worksheets with more than 100 values for the students to find in class and also at home. Some answers are included. A scientific calculator is required. This product is in pdf format and has 11 pages.
