The original Theme and Variations lesson plan uses a picture book read-aloud, art, and a collaborative listening activity students that will deepen your students' understanding of this form of music.

This Lesson Plan is Part 1 of a Theme and Variations unit. Future lessons will have students work on composing their own Theme and Variations.
