The students plot data of Elevation vs. Temperature, at different times during one day, for two major United States Cities. Each city has a unique graph of how Temperature varies with Elevation during the onset of a Thermal Inversion.

This product offers a graphical side view representation of Thermal Inversions and leads to a better understanding for the students of Inversions. Several review questions are designed to highlight the dangers of inversions to people on the ground.
