This is a third grade specific Common Core note I send home to parents a few times a year. I feel that this note makes the Common Core standards simple and straight forward. This note gives concepts, skills and ideas for parents to help their students engage at a higher level. This is a very brief overview of the Common Core. But I believe it is a "not so scary" look at the skills we are teaching at this level.

I print it on colored paper and send it home at the end of each trimester.
