Description

Do you need no prep, print + go, hands-on, cut and paste math activities that focus on all 3rd GRADE MATH Common Core Standards for the entire year?

The 2nd grade set can be found here.

These hands-on worksheets are perfect for math rotations or your early finisher station and your students will LOVE finding out the mystery trivia fact once they've solved the math problems!

Here's how it works:

  • Students will solve the 9 problems on each sheet.
  • Then, students will cut out the strips.
  • Next, students will find the matching answer on the match-up sheet.
  • They will glue the strips on top of the matching answer.
  • The fun fact is then revealed!

❤️ I love that this activity has built in motivation because students will want to solve the problems in order to read the mystery trivia fact!

❤️ I also love that this activity offers a self-checking component- students must find the matching answer in order to reveal the fun fact- which makes this activity the perfect self-checking resource for your students.

⭐️What Teachers Are Saying⭐️

  • "This was a wonderful way for my resource students to review previously taught material or practice current skills. The facts made them engaging and also easy to leave as a station with a sub or an aide because they were self-checking."

  • "I think these are very fun! They cover a bunch of skills and I really like how they have a page to glue the pieces on. The kids like the facts too."

  • "I LOVE this product! My students have so much fun solving problems, putting the puzzle together, and reading the interesting fact. I love that literacy is a part of this math product. Thank you again!"

  • "I bought these unravel the fact activities for both my children whom I homeschool. These activities are their favorite! I love that it reinforces math skills they have already learned and they love the cutting and putting together the facts in their notebook. This is an excellent independent activity for my children!"

My students use these every single day for math stations! I love the fun facts that it provides them and that it covers all different topics in math. One of my favorite parts is that is self checking and my students know that they need to redo it if the answer is not the or that the fact does not make any sense.
