Description

This is a set of 24 task cards.

Students will get practice with:

- place value, fractions, money, time, basic operations, measurement, geometry, graphing, and patterns

You can use these cards as a "scoot" game where students scoot around the room one desk at a time. You can also tape them around the room and let students work at their own pace. You could also use them for early finishers. The options are endless!

There are 24 task cards, a recording sheet, and an answer key.

Additionally this product includes a link to access the Boom Cards version of the task cards. To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. Read here for details: http://bit.ly/BoomTrial.

Loved this resource! It was super easy to prep and use right away, and I really appreciate how flexible it is. I’ve already used it in a couple different ways and plan to keep coming back to it throughout the year. Everything was clear and well laid out, which made my life a lot easier. Definitely a great go-to to have on hand—highly recommend!

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
