Description

These concept development notes cover key concepts in time measurement, weight, liquid volume, and rounding and it makes it a perfect resource for direct instruction mini-lessons, centers, homework, or review lessons! This resource includes nearly 50 pages of note taking sheets, directly compatible with lessons 1-21 of Math Module 2.

Concepts Covered in Module 2:

-Time Measurement and Problem Solving

-Measuring Weight and Liquid Volume in Metric Units

-Rounding to the Nearest Ten and Hundred

-Two and Three Digit Measurement Addition and Subtraction within 1000

Each lesson includes:
-The content objective
-Key vocabulary for the lesson
-Carefully selected problems to model new concepts

-Strong visuals to scaffold student understanding
-Fun chants for rounding and skip counting!

Distance Learning: These pages are also perfect for using as a distance learning resource. Upload the background to powerpoint or google slides, add text boxes, and have students take notes! It is also a wonderful tool to use while modeling during live instruction or a pre-recorded video.

How To Use On Google Slides:

-First, I save the pages I want to use individually as a png or pdf.

-Second, simply create a slide deck, and make custom page size to 8.5 x 11.

-Third, insert the math page of choice as the "background" of the slide.

-Finally, add text boxes over where I want to write, or where I want kids to write.


Use Another Math Curriculum? Regardless of which curriculum you use, this resource is an excellent tool to amp up your math block. Not only that, but parents love these pages! When students take pages home, parents get a better understanding of their daily lessons. Students can also refer back to these notes for homework help!

I absolutely love these concept development pages. I looked all over for something like this and use it in classkick so my students can work along with me and have the notes to refer back to instead of working it on the board and erasing it all when done. Excellent resources! I bought each module!
