This Or That- Distance Learning PowerPoint Slides
Share

Description

Use over 20 fun slides to help your class get to know each other during distance learning! You can use these as an ice breaker game and interact with them all at once, or you can do a few a day! You could even use a slide once a week during your morning meeting.

While using these slides, you can give your students instructions about putting their thumbs up or down during the virtual meeting to indicate which item on the slide that they like more. For example, if the slide says Hamburgers or Hotdogs, you can say to students "thumbs up for hamburgers, thumbs down for hotdogs!" and students can interact this way. You could even extend the activity and choose a few people to share why they made the choice that they did.

This educational resource proved to be both engaging and highly effective in helping students grasp a challenging concept. It presented the material in a clear, accessible way, using a variety of strategies such as visuals, relatable examples, and interactive elements to reinforce understanding. One of the standout features of the resource was its ability to hold students’ attention. Whether through storytelling, humor, or dynamic content, it encouraged active participation and made learning feel less like a chore and more like an experience. Students responded positively, often commenting on how the resource helped "make it click" or made the topic feel more manageable.
