When your higher level students are finished with their work, have them play tic-tac-toe. When they get three in a row, they may have a reward (5 extra points, sit in a different chair, free time). This will really get your students thinking, also pushing them to the next level of Blooms. This can be used with any subject. Everyone has vocabulary, right?
