Description
This comprehensive visual strategy packet is meant to provide visual support for students struggling to identify the hour on an analog clock. These materials can be used for whole group instruction, small group, and remediation practice. This strategy is particularly effective for visual learners, special education students, and those who just haven't yet mastered that :55 minute analog time!
This purchase includes:
-28 types of visual clocks per your students'/class' needs & preferences.
-Customizable clocks for student use
-How to Use Guide
-7 unique worksheets for practice and assessment
-Read-the-Room with 24 colorful cards, student answer sheet, and answer key
-I Have, Who Has with 28 cards that fully loop.
How to teach:
Follow creation instructions within the clock visuals, by either projecting on the Smart Board, making a laminated teacher copy, or student copies.
Teacher should model how to tell time by first identifying where the short “hour hand” is. What color is it on? That will be our hour. The second step will be to count by 5s until we reach the longer “minute hand”. This will be our minute amount.
