Description
This Time Capsule Activity is a great way to both kick off your school year and end your school year with your students! Students will complete the same time capsule activity sheet during the beginning of the school year and then again at the end of the school year! Activities include drawing a self-portrait, providing their "stats," their favs, and some other fun things about themselves. Once students fill out their time capsule during the beginning of the school year, you then, "bury" their completed beginning of the year sheets in your desk drawer and don't peek until it's the end of the school year! Before you know it, it will be the end of the school year! So, you have students complete the end of the year version, dig out those sheets from the beginning of the year, and then use the provided discussion cards to guide students to compare and contrast their time capsules. They will be amazed at much they've grown, and how many things might have changed... or stayed the same!
