Description

This telling time task card bundle allows students to learn the difference between am and pm, time to the hour and half hour, and time to the five minutes. They provide an engaging way for students to learn or reinforce time with little prep. Help create a fun learning environment with task cards and help students practice the tricky skill of time. Task Cards allow students to get up and move around and even allows for collaboration among students if given time to discuss the answers.

Included in this set:

AM & PM Task Cards

  • 24 Task Cards with different scenarios for a.m. or p.m.
  • 2 Different student recording sheet (a.m./p.m. and clocks to draw hands)
  • Answer Keys

Telling Time to Hour and Half-Hour

  • 24 Task Cards
  • Student Recording Sheet
  • Answer Key

Telling Time to the Nearest 5 Minutes

  • 24 Task Cards
  • Student Recording Sheet
  • Answer Key

These cards look best when printed in color, but will also print out fine in grayscale. Print and cut along the black line. Laminate and use them again and again. I love to print mine on cardstock so they can be used over and over. An easy way to store them is in a baggie, or hole-punch a corner of each card and put them on a ring.

I used this with the whole class. I read the AM/PM task cards and students moved to an AM or PM sign on opposite sides of the room. I loved the situations, they were engaging to my 2nd graders.
