Time Warp Forum is a series of original scripts I have written to engage my students in understanding historical concepts through drama. By rehearsing their parts, students expand their sight word vocabulary, increase their reading comprehension and remember the material. These scripts have been used by special education students, regular education students, and gifted students. I have scripts that can be used by middle school and high school students and I am developing scripts for use in intermediate grades at elementary school. The scripts were written to correlate with Georgia Performance Standards in social studies and new scripts will cover common core standards. The sample script is about ideas that were the foundation of American government, including Hobbes, Locke, Jefferson, Hamilton and economist Adam Smith. I have scripts about American history, world history, civics, Georgia history. I will also write custom scripts to cover topics in your curriculum.
