Description

This collection of telling time and elapsed time word problem worksheets can help supplement your lessons for 3rd grade. It covers adding and subtracting time to help them understand the concept of intervals and elapsed time to the minute or 5 minutes.

You can use this as a review, math center, station, enrichment activity, homework, or practice for grade 3 kids.

This elapsed time story problems product is divided into sets. Each set has the following pages:

a) Questionnaire

b) Coloring Page and a list of answers to choose from (ie. Letters A to J)

c) Answer Key, with the mystery picture

The sets included the following operations on time intervals IN MINUTES:

Set 1: Addition of time intervals in minutes

Set 2: Addition of time intervals in minutes (with clock)

Set 3: Subtraction of time intervals in minutes

Set 4: Subtraction of time intervals in minutes (with clock)

Set 5: Addition or subtraction

Set 6: Addition or subtraction

Set 7: Addition or subtraction of time (with clock)

The mystery pictures to be uncovered are:

bus, car, scooter, balloon, train, truck, space shuttle
