Description

This item is designed to increase students’ number sense by using something they see every day – THE DATE. The operations for the date include using order of operations, exponent properties, square roots/simplifying radicals, operations with fractions and decimals, etc. With this purchase, you receive month, day, and year. The day is where students will test their basic arithmetic. It’s color-coded and organized so you can easily change the date and user-friendly for the teacher. My students are eager to come into class and figure how the Math Date is equal to that day’s date. I usually hear and see students try to explain the Math Date to other students and share how they got the date. There are two files, (1) small labels – a third of a page of paper and (2) large labels – half a page of paper.
